Went at 5:00 on a Sunday to avoid wait and crowds. Seated right away in a comfortable and welcoming dining room. Decor was great, but the best feature of the decor was the ability to hear my dining partners. Many spaces at local restaurants become an echo chamber and are so loud, that you are forced to lean in and almost shout. This room, while spacious is cozy and has enough texture on walls to mute sounds. (Weird comments for a review, I know, but it matters for many).
The food and service were first rate. You might want to consider viewing the menu online beforehand, as it is ideally a sharing menu. Our server, Irena?, was both patient and knowledgeable and helped us figure out what and how to order based on our diverse party of four’s likes.
All of the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. We started with grilled Caesar salads and a mushroom flatbread. We then shared a whole roasted chicken and broccoli. You might think roast chicken? What’s the big deal? I don’t know, but it was the most moist and flavorful chicken I’ve had – served with herbs and grilled lemons. Seriously all food is delicious! Try it you won’t be sorry.
