Loved it!
The ambiance is rustic and unique, as is the menu. The lamb meatballs are amazing, as is the burata and quite frankly everything we had. The flatbread is made with fresh mozzarella which is always amazing. Excellent, high quality, fine cuisine at the beach -which is a rarity!
Food Beyond Compare!
Food is beyond compare. Sorry if you judge small plates by price there are some good Buffet options. If you judge food by quality this is it. Yes the bread and butter is 8 dollars. You get 2 homemade breads of different variety and great blueberry butter. Fried cauliflower is unbelievably good. Paella is great. Main dishes are family style and wonderful. They use a balsamic on the salad that even an Italian will say "wow." Desserts are decadent. Good is farm fresh. Service is relaxed and impeccable. The entire place seems like a 78 RPM played at 45 in a good way. Unrushed. Low key. They take pride in their food and it shows. Soft shells were great. Wrapped figs excellent. And you can feed a family at 30 dollars a head. If that is an issue then this is not your choice but if that is Ok you will enjoy a mirage of flavors and freshness.
Our best meal in a week of restaurants.
This restaurant was so much better than all the high end overpriced places we have gone all week. Our children own a place near here and come often. They took us to those other places. We met other family however that love to eat healthy locally grown foods. So six of us shared many meatless dishes as well as the chicken, flank steak, and short ribs. It was all well prepared. The service was excellent. A wonderful meal. If you read my reviews you will see I have eaten all over the world. I am not a foodie as much as a picky eater. I like fresh food prepared simply and well. I hope to come back here soon.
Unbelievably Delicious Desserts !
A group of us visited the restaurant for the first time last week. We each shared several types of flatbread ( which were delicious and had the perfect balance of spices) and saved room for dessert. We ordered a variety of desserts to share and all were delicious. Dining tip= the parking lot was full when we arrived and we anticipated having to wait for a table. However, the restaurant is very large inside- 2 sections. Will definitely return.
